Oueenston Mile Vineyard Pinot Noir – A delicate red wine from the renowned St. David’s Bench vineyard

The grapes for the Oueenston Mile Vineyard Pinot Noir come from one of Niagara’s top vineyards. After harvesting, the grapes were cold macerated for three days. The proportion of whole grapes was 10 percent. Alcoholic fermentation then took place in stainless steel tanks. Both natural and pure yeasts were used. The wine was then matured for 12 months in used French oak barriques. Bottling took place on January 16, 2020. The wine matured in the bottle for some time before being released for sale.

And what does the Pinot Noir from Queenston Mile taste like?

The cherry aromas continue beguilingly on the palate, underpinned by warm, spicy tones. It impresses with its velvety texture and supple tannins, the acidity is finely chiseled and well integrated. An elegant Pinot Noir from one of the best sites in Niagara, with a long finish.
