McLaren Vale

McLaren Vale is one of the great and oldest names when it comes to wine from Australia. The birthplace of wine in South Australia is located south of the capital Adelaide and offers a variety of soils that bask in a Mediterranean climate. Although today over 7,500 hectares of vines are cultivated and demand for Australian wines from this region is at an all-time high worldwide, it has retained much of the innovative spirit with which it was born. Much of this innovative spirit stems from the fact that McLaren Vale is still home to many boutique wineries that continue to push the boundaries in their quest for perfection.
