The traditional Topper’s red wine blend

The composition or assemblage of Topper’s Mountain Bricolage Rouge varies in each vintage, as it compiles the best grape variety results of a vintage. The 2014 contains 60% Tempranillo, a popular Spanish variety that adds its freshness and ripe red berry flavors to the blend. Nebbiolo (30%) and Tannat (5%) are responsible for the backbone of the wine, while the 5% of Shiraz and Viognier provide freshness. This exceptional red wine has been aged for 22 months in old French barriques.

And this is how the Bricolage Rouge from Topper’s Mountain Wines tastes

The Topper’s Mountain Bricolage Rouge is an exciting blend of Tempranillo, Nebbiolo, Tannat, Shiraz and Viognier, showcasing an exotic variety of ripe raspberries, wild strawberries, cherries, liquorice with hints of mint and pine. On the palate it presents itself spicy, balanced and elegant with aromas of
Wild strawberries, cassis, ripe raspberries, a hint of toast and chocolate. The tannins are supple and the acidity delicate. The long finish is accompanied by black pepper and dried herbs. This cuvée is undoubtedly unique.
