The Lindsay Wine Estate comprises around 40 hectares of vineyards. It is located in the sub-district of Marananga, a renowned sub-region of the Barossa Valley, in the state of South Australia. The winery looks back on an eventful history, dating back to its foundation in 1844 by Scottish settlers. Since then, the winery has developed into a respected institution in the Australian wine industry. Lindsay Wine Estate’s own vineyards stretch across a charming landscape of rolling hills and idyllic surroundings. This natural beauty and optimal growing conditions contribute to the production of the high quality wines that have made the estate famous. Lindsay’s impressive range includes Shiraz as well as exceptional wines from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Riesling grape varieties. The grapes come not only from the Barossa Valley, but also from neighbouring wine regions. These include the Eden Valley, the Clare Valley and Riverland. They perfectly reflect the true varietal character of the traditional styles.
