From the glass of Pillitteri Exclamation Merlot flows a wonderful, complex scent of black cherry, candied liquorice, blackberry and blueberry compote, underlaid with subtle aromas of cloves and fresh mint leaves. After breathing a little, notes of cedar, juniper and vanilla appear. On the palate it has a lot of extract and fine enamel, aromas of dark chocolate and nutmeg are noticeable. The acidity is well supportive, the tannin crumbly. A flattering Merlot, with fleshy fruit and long reverberation.
