With its animating fruitiness and present acidity, this Chardonnay is a perfect partner to salty and high-fat foods. Try it with tomatoes, avocado and burrata salad on grilled garlic toast or fried potatoes gratinated with cheese. We love it with seafood of all kinds, ideally mussels, clams or sockeye salmon drizzled with lemon juice. Also with creamy soups, pie, grilled duck or salads with feta and goat cheese, this Chardonnay is at its best.

The grape material for the Market Collection Chardonnay comes from vines that stand on red slate. This gives this white wine an interesting, animating minerality. The proximity to Lake Ontario leads to greater differences between day and night temperatures, which enhances the aroma and preserves the natural acidity.

Wonderful aromas of citrus fruits, especially lemon and grapefruit, with undertones of green apple, gooseberry and honeydew melon push out of the glass. On the palate there are notes of apple, pear and peach, underlaid with white flowers and mint. Exciting hints of minerality, in the form of wet stone and flint. The acidity is delicate and well integrated. An expressive white wine that convinces both as a soloist and as a versatile food companion.

[3845,3866,3872,4137,4139,4144,4148,4149,4161,4178,4179,4183
4130,3969,3972,4025,4058,4066,4128,4501,4504
post-7140","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_cat-wines","product_cat-wine-type","product_cat-white-wines","product_cat-wine-style","product_cat-fruity-fresh","product_cat-mild-harmonious","product_cat-white-varieties","product_cat-chardonnay-en","product_cat-wine-origin","product_cat-canada","product_cat-niagara-en","product_cat-pillitteri-estates-winery-en","product_tag-white-wines","product_tag-chardonnay-en","product_tag-chardonnay-market-collection-en","product_tag-canada","product_tag-niagara-en","product_tag-pillitteri-estates-winery-en","product_tag-wines","product_tag-asparagus-grilled","product_tag-asparagus-cooked","pa_alkoholgehalt-12-5-en","pa_allergenhinweis-contains-sulphites","pa_anbau-bewirtschaftung-conventional","pa_ausbau-in-stainless-steel-tank","pa_dekantieren-empfohlen-no","pa_empfohlenes-glas-chardonnay-glass","pa_geschmack-semi-dry","pa_jahrgang-2017-en","pa_lebensmittelunternehmer-wine-in-motion-gmbh-kellerweg-4-84494-neumarkt-sankt-veit-deutschland-en","pa_nettofuellmenge-0-75-en","pa_rebsorten-chardonnay-en","pa_reifepotential-until-2024","pa_restzucker-12-5-en","pa_saeure-6-2-en","pa_trinkreife-from-now","pa_trinktemperatur-8-10-en","pa_vegan-produziert-no","pa_verpackungseinheit-12-en","pa_verschlussart-screw-cap","pa_weingut-pillitteri-estates-winery-en","pa_weinland-canada","pa_weinregion-niagara-en","pa_weinstil-fruity-fresh","pa_weinstil-mild-harmonious","pa_weintyp-white-wine","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
