The Pillitteri Carretto Riesling Icewine goes very well with salad, seafood, chocolate and pretty much any dessert you can think of.

Pillitteri Estates Winery prides itself on producing one of nature’s most exquisite gifts – ice wine. The harvest of the Icewine grapes takes place when the temperatures have reached -8 degrees Celsius or colder. The hand-picked, naturally frozen grapes produce a juice with an intense concentration of sugar, acids, flavors and aromas when pressed. However, the yield is much lower than most wines, ten times more grapes are needed per bottle. The resulting wine has a high natural sugar content, a low alcohol content, an amazing acidity and is intensely sweet and tasty. Pillitteri Icewine is a unique taste experience with aromas that can range from honey-sweet peach and apricot to tropical fruits such as mangoes.

The Pillitteri Carretto Riesling Icewine literally explodes in the nose and on the palate with notes of pineapple, apricot juice and a splash of lemon. The well-balanced acidity ensures a superb, clean finish. Perfect with all desserts or pure.

[3845,3865,3866,3868,4137,4138,4145,4148,4154,4161,4178,4179,4183
4078,3963,3983,3992,4025,4058,4066,4128,5747
post-7128","product","type-product","status-publish","product_cat-wines","product_cat-special-formats","product_cat-wine-type","product_cat-dessert-wines","product_cat-wine-style","product_cat-exotic-aromatic","product_cat-noble-opulent","product_cat-white-varieties","product_cat-riesling-en","product_cat-wine-origin","product_cat-canada","product_cat-niagara-en","product_cat-pillitteri-estates-winery-en","product_tag-riesling-en","product_tag-carretto-en","product_tag-dessert-wines","product_tag-icewine-en","product_tag-canada","product_tag-niagara-en","product_tag-pillitteri-estates-winery-en","product_tag-wines","product_tag-icewine-en-2","pa_alkoholgehalt-10-0-en","pa_allergenhinweis-contains-sulphites","pa_anbau-bewirtschaftung-conventional","pa_ausbau-in-stainless-steel-tank","pa_dekantieren-empfohlen-no","pa_empfohlenes-glas-bordeaux-glass","pa_geschmack-sweet","pa_jahrgang-2016-en","pa_lebensmittelunternehmer-wine-in-motion-gmbh-kellerweg-4-84494-neumarkt-sankt-veit-deutschland-en","pa_nettofuellmenge-0-375-en","pa_rebsorten-riesling-en","pa_reifepotential-until-2023","pa_restzucker-225-0-en","pa_saeure-7-7-en","pa_trinkreife-from-now","pa_trinktemperatur-8-10-en","pa_vegan-produziert-no","pa_verpackungseinheit-12-en","pa_verschlussart-natural-cork","pa_weingut-pillitteri-estates-winery-en","pa_weinland-canada","pa_weinregion-niagara-en","pa_weinstil-exotic-aromatic","pa_weinstil-noble-opulent","pa_weintyp-dessert-wine","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
