The crisp acidity and buttery notes of Queenston Mile Chardonnay also make it an excellent choice for grilled fish or shellfish such as lobster, prawns or scallops. The creamy texture and aromas of this fine Canadian wine also harmonize with creamy pasta dishes such as fettuccine Alfredo or pasta with a rich cheese sauce. The grapes for the Oueenston Mile Vineyard Chardonnay come from one of Niagara’s best vineyards. Harvested on October 5, 2021, the wine underwent alcoholic fermentation and was aged for 12 months in new and used French oak barriques for 2 to 5 years. Bottling took place on April 24, 2023.<\/p>\n

The Queenston Mile Vineyard Chardonnay has an inviting aroma of ripe apples and juicy pears, underlaid with creamy vanilla, caramel and roasted hazelnuts. On the palate, it impresses with a great deal of smoothness and a wonderful combination of fruitiness and elegance. Lots of ripe peach, coated with fine roasted notes and spices. The acidity of this light-footed wine is delicate and well integrated. A profound, multi-layered Chardonnay with a long finish.
