The soils on hilly terrain near the Tinguiririca river are of volcanic origin, with alluvial deposits and large quantities of clay. The harvest is 100% manual. After the harvest, the grapes are selected by hand, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Before fermentation, the grapes were cold macerated for 5 days to extract color and tannin. Alcoholic fermentation took place in small stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation then took place in French barriques. The wine then matured for 12 months in used barrique barrels (second passage). The aim was to preserve the seductive fruit and not overwhelm the wine with too much wood. The Single Vineyard Carm\u00e9n\u00e8re was finally bottled in February 2023. In Chile, the Carm\u00e9n\u00e8re grape variety, which originates from Bordeaux in France, was confused with Merlot until the 1990s. This very late-ripening variety has almost disappeared in France. In Chile, however, it experienced a meteoric rise.  The Cachapoal Valley is one of the main valleys in the Central Zone. It is located 80 kilometers south of the capital Santiago de Chile and is surrounded by the Paines and Pelequ\u00e9ns mountains. Its climate is mild Mediterranean. Precipitation is around 400 mm per year. The annual temperature fluctuation is high, reaching temperatures above 30 \u00b0C in summer and below 10 \u00b0C in winter.  &nbsp; And this is what the Single Vineyard Carm\u00e9n\u00e8re from Besoain Wines tastes like The Besoain Single Vineyard Carm\u00e9n\u00e8re seduces with an intense, sensual aroma of ripe raspberries, green tea and strawberry jam, accompanied by the aroma of dark chocolate and sweet, spicy notes of licorice, cinnamon and cedar wood. On the palate, this crimson Chilean red wine is opulent and animatingly juicy, with plenty of fruit and supple tannins. Strawberries and raspberries make their presence felt. The acidity is delicate and supportive. An impressive, very elegant wine from Chile, full of character and with a long finish."}
