After harvesting, the grapes were cold macerated for three days. The proportion of whole grapes was 10 percent. Alcoholic fermentation then took place in stainless steel tanks. Both natural and pure yeasts were used. The wine was then matured for 12 months in used French oak barriques. Bottling took place on January 16, 2020. The wine matured in the bottle for some time before being released for sale.  &nbsp; And what does the Pinot Noir from Queenston Mile taste like? The Queenston Mile Pinot Noir has a delicate aroma of cherries, strawberries and beetroot, accompanied by slightly earthy notes and hints of wild mushrooms. The cherry aromas continue beguilingly on the palate, underpinned by warm, spicy tones. It impresses with its velvety texture and supple tannins, the acidity is finely chiseled and well integrated. An elegant Pinot Noir from one of the best sites in Niagara, with a long finish."}
